About
I am a psychotherapist working the Metro-Atlanta area. I frequently see clients who feel they need some help with their emotions, or wish to have a better understanding of themselves. My place is to journey alongside you as a companion, offering guidance and perspective to empower you towards healthy choices and lifestyles. I believe everyone has their own strengths, values, and virtues that can be used to help guide the therapeutic process.
I draw heavily from the influences of Dialectical Behavior Therapy as well as a number of Family Systems approaches. In session, I practice an eclectic style and use various therapeutic techniques for my clients to find the best the approaches, skills, and tools that enable their individual growth.
I have experience and training with the LGBTQ+ community and am affirming of sexual- and relationship-minority clients.
I am a Licensed Master of Social Worker and have a Master of Social Work from Kennesaw State. I also have a Master of Divinity from Emory University and four units of Clinical Pastoral Education. I am an ordained minister and trained as an interfaith chaplain to work with people from all backgrounds on issues of spirituality and meaning-making
